ABOUT THE TRAINING

In this 20 Hour program you will explore the many benefits of Aerial Yoga, cover basic anatomy, safety, 50+ poses and how to put them together to create flows.  A training manual is also included for your reference.  The course will allow plenty of practice time as well as practice teaching time to help each participant feel comfortable teaching an aerial yoga class. After the training weekend is complete, each participant will be required to complete an additional 20 hours of observing and/or assisting an aerial yoga class. That’s 40 hours of CEUs for Yoga Alliance (we are very willing to work with you on how these hours can be acquired if it becomes an issue). Each participant will be responsible in arranging observation with a qualified teacher.  Upon completion of observation hours, the participant will be awarded an Aerial Yoga Teaching Certificate.  This course is open to Certified Yoga Teachers AND Fitness Professionals interested in expanding their knowledge.  Okay, and don’t be intimidated by the picture! You don’t have to be that good!…just be willing to hang out with us and learn ;)

“It is my desire to assist my students in a compassionate, skillful and playful way so that each may develop tools to discover the many benefits this practice provides after leaving their mat. I feel that breath awareness is an integral part of yoga practice and from that a natural sense of movement and grace evolves, guiding each student to their own unique experience. My Yoga practice has brought the greatest sense of joy and introspection to my life and it is my pleasure and privilege to share it.” ~ Tana
