Prana Vinyasa Flow (PVF) is a unique, full-spectrum approach to the art of living and embodying the flow of yoga created by renowned yoga teacher Shiva Rea.
This Yoga Alliance approved affiliate program of Samudra Global School for Living Yoga is internationally recognized, and enrollment in teacher training allows students access to unique and private online courses with Prana Vinyasa Flow creator, Shiva Rea, as well as participation in the global online community and network to meet yogis from all around the world.
20 Prana Vinyasa Sequences for teaching, self integration and study
Online support and programming with document sequences, concepts and more
Advanced concepts in anatomy, asana alignment and hands on, and sequencing
Learn the art and arc of Prana Vinyasa Flow class structure and design
Integrate Living Ayurveda to support the teaching path
Understand the link between the five elements, sequencing, Ayurveda, and guidelines for self-healing
In-person training with 10 Intensive week-end training modules over a 2 year time period.
Yogamour’s Teacher Training (YTT) for Prana Vinyasa Flow (PVF) is designed as intensive weekend modules spanning a 2-year timeframe. This format allows individuals to space out payment, travel, and study time.
An average day spans 8:30am-5pm and will look like this;
Morning: Yoga practice and application
Lunch: Enjoy one of the many restaurants in Historic Downtown Frederick
Afternoon and Evening: Theory and practicum
A more detailed schedule and itinerary will be provided specific to the module and may be subject to minimal changes regarding time and location in Downtown Frederick, MD.

towards a 500 Hour RYT as a Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor
Prana Vinyasa Flow (PVF) 300 Hour Teacher Training spans 10 weeks. Ends Dec 2019.

50+ hours of group or private instruction

Certification for 300-Hour PVF Teacher Training certification requires;
Complete the final 3 Modules of Study
Demonstrate embodiment and proficiency in teaching PVF sequences
Complete practicum teaching assignments
Render 70% of above on all quizzes and final examination
Submit 3 projects as assigned by instructor

Application for 200 & 300 Hour Prana Vinyasa Flow Training
Maria, a Frederick, MD native, is an affiliate with Shiva Rea's Prana Vinyasa Flow® Teacher Training Program, and Founder of the New Mexico School of Yoga in Albuquerque.
Maria has been studying with Shiva Rea since 2000 which led her to coordinate Shiva’s International Yoga Teacher Training Program and served as the Prana Flow Affiliate Certification Coordinator for five years. She has been involved in health, Yoga and Pilates instruction for over 15 years. In addition to offering teacher training, workshops and retreats world-wide, Maria has completed programs at both the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and the world-renowned Ayurvedic Institute with Dr. Vasant Lad. She has written several articles for local and international publications, including Yoga Journal, Simple Living and Ayurveda Today and has been a featured presenter at Vancouver and Toronto Yoga Conferences.
Maria is dedicated to a life-long study, practice and teaching of both Yoga and Ayurveda. Celebrating over 20 years of study in Medical and Biological Sciences, Philosophy, Ayurveda and Yoga, Maria’s teachings offer a grounded yet transformative approach to living, being, and embodying Yoga. Blending the knowledge she has gathered from her studies with her yearly trips to India, she leads dynamic, liberating classes and trainings that embody the alchemy of all these disciplines and teachings.
She founded the New Mexico School of Yoga where she leads 200-Hour and 300-Hour Yoga Programs specializing in Hatha Yoga, Ayurvedic Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. Maria also serves as teaching staff for Samudra School of Living Yoga Prana Flow certification programs worldwide.
Maria is a member of Yoga Alliance (YA), National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), and the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and Serves on the NAMA Standards Committee for Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Accreditation.
