This training is designed for yoga teachers, educators and therapists who would like to introduce the tools of yoga and mindfulness from the growing field of trauma research to manage, regulate and even resolve some of the symptoms of trauma.  The goal of a trauma-informed yoga practice is to build resiliency and establish greater self-regulation.  It is about feeling safe and at-home in the body so that  stability,  good self-esteem, and healthy relationships are able to be established.  This training is for those who would like to work with individuals or communities with trauma and reveal how to integrate the basic tools of yoga into their work to support greater health and well-being.
