This 8-hour training day is designed for both newer students and experienced practitioners ready to return to a beginner’s mind. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have years of practice behind you, this immersive experience invites you to slow down, go deeper, and reconnect with the foundations of breath and subtle body awareness. Together, we’ll explore the history of pranayama (breath liberation) through its roots in ancient yogic texts while also looking at modern scientific studies and anatomical insights into the breath, bridging old and new with curiosity and clarity. Expect a nourishing blend of lecture, discussion, guided practice, and reflection. Leave with a deeper understanding of pranayama, a renewed connection to your breath, and practical tools to support your practice and teaching.
This immersive experience offers 6 CEUs to registered Yoga Alliance teachers. The day includes a lunch break from 1:30 to 2:00 PM and dinner from 5:45 to 6:30 PM.
