“Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching”. When I was 10 my family moved from a bustling neighborhood in Annapolis to a dilapidated old farm house on the rural Eastern Shore My parents quickly realized that the best way to combat my new social isolation was to keep me busy. Soon I found myself involved in numerous local service organizations and I learned that volunteering had the ability to bring people together to make for a good time, and to get good things done.
