A Safe Space for You!

We want you to know that we are making every effort to keep the Yogamour space clean and safe for our students, teachers and friends. Please know that we hold high regard to your health and well-being What more can we ALL do?

  • We have installed a wall mounted hand sanitizer located left of the barn door upon entering the yoga studio space. The container holds an organic hand crafted sanitizer which has been made according to CDC guidelines. We will be selling the hand sanitizer in 4 oz. bottles in the boutique.

  • There are tissue boxes in the studio so that you can cover your eye pillow when using. Also, if you have your own props, please bring them, or bring a towel to drape over blankets or bolsters. Be assured that we will be cleaning props regularly with anti-bacterial products!

  • Please feel free to generously use the large spray bottles in the studio and wipes to clean your props after class. Small 4 ounce size anti-bacterial spray bottles will be sold in the boutique as well. Again, all sanitzers are CDC compliant.

  • There are disinfectant wipes located at the check-in desk, in the kitchen area and in the yoga studio space. Teachers will be wiping down the surfaces regularly.

  • We love to hug and it is safer these days than shaking hands. But, discover some more creative ways to greet your friends, teachers and students — HERE!

  • The studio will be sanitized between classes, so please be patient as we make the studio space safe for you!

  • If you are not feeling well or under the weather, please stay and rest until you feel awesome again!

But where should your focus be right now? It can be difficult to not feel anxiety and even panic over the coronavirus outbreak with the constant onslaught of updates on the news and social media. If we pause for a just a moment, we can find ways to quieten the din and live at peace.

First things first! A strong immune system is a must! Keep your mind and body strong. Your first line of defense is to choose a healthy lifestyle. Following general good-health guidelines is the single best step you can take toward naturally keeping your immune system strong and healthy. Every part of your body, including your immune system, functions better when protected from environmental assaults and bolstered by healthy-living strategies such as these:

  • Don’t smoke.

  • Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables.

  • Exercise regularly.

  • Maintain a healthy weight.

  • If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.

  • Get adequate sleep.

  • Wash your hands frequently.

  • Try to minimize stress.

  • Take vitamins (esp. B, C and D complex)

Yoga offers an opportunity to ease the mind, body and boost the immune system. Allow your practice to bring a fresh perspective with which to deal with events that are beyond our control. This is the time to make your yoga practice stronger and better than ever!

Please note that we will be offering on-line classes, so stay tuned!

Warmly,

Geni and Beccah
