MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Alexander Elahi, DC, MS, PSP, CCSP®, Cert.MDT®, PPSC, provides primary spine care for patients with back and neck pain at Key Spine Care in Frederick, Maryland. He is one of Maryland's only Certified Primary Spine Practitioners (PSP) and one of only 300 worldwide. In addition, he is one of only 13 providers in Maryland, and only the second chiropractor in Maryland, to be Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®. Further, he is the only provider in Frederick that has achieved Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® status from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians®.
Dr. Elahi began his education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. After working as a high school physics teacher for several years, he continued his education at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. His postgraduate studies include graduate coursework in Kinesiology, a master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, and a doctorate in Chiropractic. Over his career, which now stretches over a decade, Dr. Elahi has been published in the prestigious Journal of Neurophysiology, led presentations and conference proceedings, and maintained membership in several professional associations and societies. Currently, Dr. Elahi is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. He enjoys rucking, running, cycling, martial arts, and keeping up with the latest developments in modern spine treatments.
