Sunday, April 12 and May 17 | 12:30 to 2:30pm | $59 ($85 for both)
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have years of practice behind you, this immersive experience invites you to slow down, go deeper, and reconnect with the foundations of breath and subtle body awareness. Together, we’ll explore the history of pranayama (breath liberation) through its roots of the ancient yogic texts while also looking at modern science and anatomical insights into the breath, bridging old and new with curiosity and clarity.

April 12 will be focused on science and anatomy, and May 17 will be more focused on subtle body connection (think more sensation than science). This experiential training offers space to learn, question, integrate, and embody the teachings in your own way. Expect a nourishing blend of lecture, guided practice, and reflection. You’ll receive a deeper understanding of pranayama, a renewed connection to your breath, and practical tools to support your practice and teaching. CEUs available.

Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30pm | April 14 + 28, May 12 | $125 ($99 for RYT)
What does yoga offer beyond the poses? This virtual 3-week series invites you to explore the 8 Limbs of Yoga together in a supportive learning space. Join this year’s Yoga Teacher Training cohort for Tuesday night ‘Study Circle’ as we study the eight-limbed path described in the Yoga Sutras: yama (relationships with others), niyama (personal practices), asana (posture), pranayama (breath practice), pratyahara (sense withdrawal), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (integration or absorption).

No prior philosophy study required, however readings and video viewings are assigned via email between sessions. Miss a Tuesday? No worries, recordings are provided to registrants. Each session will offer explanations, reflection, and discussion about how these teachings show up both on and off the mat. Whether you are a yoga teacher, a dedicated student, or simply curious about yoga philosophy, this series offers an accessible way to deepen your understanding of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Grab a cup of tea and channel your inner nerd as we explore how ancient teachings relate to modern life. 8 CEUs are available.

Saturday, May 9 | 12:30 to 8:30pm | $125 ($99 for RYT)
This 8-hour training day introduces practical anatomy for yoga teachers in a clear, usable way. We’ll focus on the basic concepts that help you understand how bodies move in yoga. We’ll review simple anatomical language such as anterior and posterior, medial and lateral, and superior and inferior. We’ll explore the three main planes of movement: sagittal, frontal, and transverse, and connect them to common yoga poses. We’ll also look at basic joint actions like flexion, extension, abduction, rotation. Students will learn the main parts of the spine, how major muscle groups support movement, and how joints are designed to move and where their natural limits are. We’ll also review movements of the shoulder blades, including protraction, retraction, elevation, and depression, to support healthier shoulder mechanics. The goal is to give students a simple framework for understanding movement so anatomy becomes a helpful teaching tool rather than overwhelming information. Training day starts with an asana practice, and includes a 30 min lunch and 45 minute dinner break. 8 CEUs are available.

Saturday, May 23 | 12:30 to 8:30pm | $125 ($99 for RYT)
What makes an asana sequence feel balanced, spacious, and effective for the bodies in front of you? This 8-hour, in-person training is a practical look into clear, effective asana sequencing, with time built in for practice teaching and real-time feedback. Open to teachers and dedicated students, we’ll focus on designing classes with clarity and intention and building sequences that don’t rely on throwing out every pose you know. We’ll explore both vignette-style flows and peak pose frameworks in a simple, usable way. Through guided brainstorming, group discussion, and practice teaching, you’ll have space to try things out, observe others, and refine your approach. This training day also includes an asana clinic on lateral and forward bends to better understand these patterns in both your own body and your teaching. Expect a collaborative, low-pressure environment where you can experiment, simplify, and build confidence. Training day starts with an asana practice, and includes a 30 min lunch and 45 minute dinner break. 8 CEUs are available.
