Curious about yoga but not quite ready to jump into a full class? If you feel a little nervous, unsure where to start, or you simply prefer more personalized attention, this 90-minute beginner-friendly workshop is for you! We’ll slow things down and focus on the foundations: safe alignment, supportive modifications, and clear, specific guidance from an experienced, trauma-informed teacher. You’ll have plenty of space to ask questions, explore at your own pace, and build confidence in your body’s natural wisdom. Props are encouraged (and celebrated!) as tools that help you connect more deeply with your practice. By the end, you’ll feel more at ease in group classes and more comfortable moving on your own mat.
Each workshop covers commonly used yoga poses (asanas) and simple breathwork practices (pranayama) you’ll encounter in most Western yoga settings, offered with choice, warmth, and accessibility at the center. Drop in when you can, or sign up for the whole series for a discounted rate. Start the new year focused on mind, body, and soul.
