Yogamour Honors Black History Month 🖤

Hello Friends,

This month, we pause with intention to honor Black History Month, a time to reflect, learn, and hold deep appreciation for the enduring contributions of Black leaders, teachers, healers, and visionaries whose wisdom has shaped history, culture, and wellness spaces.

Yoga invites us into awareness, compassion, and connection. As we move and breathe together, we also recognize that wellness does not exist in isolation from history, justice, or community. Many of the practices and philosophies that inform modern wellness are rooted in Black resilience, creativity, and care. Throughout February, our classes will gently hold space for the following:

  • Reflection and grounding, honoring ancestors and trailblazers

  • Intentional themes of resilience, liberation, and self care

  • Music, readings, and moments of stillness inspired by Black voices

We invite you to step onto your mat with openness and curiosity, listening deeply, moving mindfully, and honoring the truth that healing and liberation are collective practices.

May our time together remind us that rest is meaningful, presence is powerful, and community is essential.

With respect and gratitude,

Geni, Jaime and The Yogamour Team
