Is It Time to Deepen Your Practice? 🙏🏽

Hello Friends,

How about Yoga Teacher Training? “But I don’t want to teach.”

When you’ve been practicing with us for a while and have been dedicated to your practice, more often than not you’ll receive an invitation to join us for Yoga Teacher Training. First it’s a “deer in the headlights” pause and then the automatic response “but I don’t want to be a yoga teacher.” We get that. When I started my 200 hour program, I had no intention in teaching either.

YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) is not just about earning a certificate so you can stand in front of a class and say chaturanga over and over. YTT is also about deepening your personal practice, learning about the history and honoring the roots of Yoga. A student who gets on the mat consistency, who doesn’t make excuses and is curious, I mean curious, is ready to go deeper. Whether you teach or not, you may not decide until you’re six months into your training. Maybe longer.

This weekend our Power Yoga Teacher Trainees are graduating! Out of twenty nine trainees, thirteen are registered Yoga Teachers. They signed up for the training to deepen their practice and what they will leave the training with is a better understanding of their bodies on the mat, how they can adapt their practice OFF the mat and the profound bond they created simply by being a yes!

YTT 200 begins March 28, 2026. Are you ready to deepen your practice?

With gratitude,

Jaime and The Yogamour Team đź’ś
