It's Our Birthday! We're turning 7!🎈

Dear Friends,

We’ve officially made it to seven years and we think that calls for a celebration. Happy Birthday to Yogamour and huge love to this incredible community that helped make it all happen.

Over the years, we’ve moved through challenges together. When the pandemic hit, we did our best to keep bringing you top-quality classes from our amazing staff and to stay connected even when the studio doors were temporarily closed. If you’ve ever wondered why we have a dragonfly as our little mascot, there’s a story behind that too.

On March 13, 2020, just as the Maryland Governor announced that all studios and gyms had to close, I recorded a video message for our community. In it, I promised we would do everything we could to remain a vibrant space for practice, connection, and care. Just as I finished recording, a dragonfly flew in and landed on one of the canister lights in the studio. That little visitor felt like a sign. A quiet reminder that transformation and resilience are always possible. And guess what... he’s still there. And so are we.

Now, if you ever find yourself gazing upward during Savasana, look closely at the canister light closest to the barn door. Our lucky dragonfly friend is still watching over the space. You’ll also spot him riding along on our boat SEVA during the winter solstice celebration, and soon, you’ll be able to wear him proudly on one of our brand new Yogamour t-shirts. Good vibes, always.

So now it’s time to celebrate this journey and the amazing people who made it possible…YOU! Join us on Saturday, April 19 from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Stop in for part of the day or hang out for the whole thing.
