Join yogini Tracy Blair and hypnotist Joe Smith for a perfectly crafted evening of healing from stress and anxiety through the power of sound and hypnosis. The evening will begin with centering, followed by a brief yogic movement series to release tension and facilitate relaxation. Then, you'll move into deep relaxation, supported by as many blankets and props as you desire. The meditative and healing sounds of the harmonium, crystal bowls, turning forks, and soft vocals will enfold you as you are guided on a hypnosis journey to receive words of positive affirmation directly to your subconscious mind. When the hypnosis session is complete, you'll be gently guided out of your deeply relaxed state and into full waking presence where you'll have the opportunity to share any insights or experiences from your journey.

Why hypnosis? Your subconscious mind is like the autopilot that controls much of how you think, walk, breathe, talk, and act. Up to 90-95% of your behavior is influenced by the subconscious. It records every detail of everything you have experienced in the past, and tries to keep your present thoughts and behavior consistent with your past. This is why consciously making positive changes can be so difficult at first; you feel uneasy and uncomfortable to the point of giving up because your subconscious is pulling you to remain consistent with the past. You are aware that the stress and anxiety producing beliefs, thoughts, and situations can be changed and you desire to change them, but the subconscious is keeping you stuck.

Thankfully, through hypnosis, you can access the subconscious mind and update its programming to be in alignment with your desired peaceful, stress-free, resilient state. The flow of the evening will be:

  • Arrival, centering, tuning into self and the present moment

  • Gentle movement/stretching to release tension

  • Moving into laying-down savasana or seated relaxation, depending on each individual's preference, for the sound healing and hypnosis session

  • Gently coming out of hypnosis into full waking consciousness.

  • Grounding and sharing experiences.
